Diablo 3 is good. What else would you want from a top-down ARPG besides lots of demons to kill and loot?

Not falling for that one folks You don't have to believe me, but Ninja Theory developed Hellblade in close partnership with a professor of neuroscience at Cambridge and a grant from Recovery College East to regularly oversee and provide feedback for the game. People who suffer from psychosis have weighed in on how the game authentically reflected their own experiences. And Ninja Theory continuing to donate all sales on World Mental Health Day to charity two years in a row, as well as establishing a scholarship for mental health tutors would seem to indicate that their commitment to mental health issues is sincere, history of sniper rifle abortions or no. Also Diablo 3 is really good so..?

Hellblade should had first person and VR support. And it really is pretty decent, at the very least a singular experience. Use headphones if you try it. Diablo 3 was bad but it's at least not awful. It's still boring.

The game is vastly superior now. Much more content (in the AH days it was just beating the game in a harder difficulty), loads of loot, easier to gear up and all classes got revamped. Is well worth coming back.

They have really revamped the game in the 3 years since you stopped playing, I can’t think of a single game system that was left untouched except for leveling (which can take you anywhere between 8 hours or 15 minutes)

Escobarbarian, I dunno if you read the Spider-Man thread but I posted another video of me doing a Hammerhead base. This one was much harder than the last one and is more in line what you were originally talking about with Shield Dudez-A-Plenti and minigun Brutes and suicidal rocket launcher dudes firing at me from close range. Felt almost unfair to post my last video in response to your post, like "hey, here's me doing a much easier version of what you're talking about pfftt N.B.D." It's also just an excuse to post another video cuz this game rules so hard.

Is Uncharted Lost Legacy worth 18 bucks? Does it have less climb-and-talk-for-20-minutes sections?

# ? Dec 3, 2018 20:03 |

I got Lost Legacy for 20bux and it was a fun 8-hour experience that didn't wear out its welcome like every other Uncharted game. Chloe and Nadine have good chemistry, there's not too much combat, and the open-world section is limited to one chapter. No real desire to replay it, but good for what it was.

Sounds good. Nadine was pretty much the most sympathetic character in 4 since she had to deal with all those numbskulls. The part where she starts wrecking Nate and Sam's poo poo was pretty cathartic.

The beginning - after the prologue that is - of Lost Legacy is a bit of a drag (depending on the person) because it’s a bigger and longer quasi open world section like Madagascar. You go through 3 dungeons with various side areas to explore. But once you get through that it’s a hell of a ride to the end. Still has a few walk-and-talk sections but I liked those in 4 too so I may not be the best judge.

Any thoughts on RDR2’s completely busted online economy that is in no way indicative of their contempt for their fan base? Beta reviews say it’s demonstrably grindier than GTAV and the Forbes article had some galaxy-brained factoids that make it sound like all the worst parts of GTAO but exponentially less fun and with less to do.

I feel like economy sucks because the setting of RDR2 is so much more limited to what they can add versus GTA5 to get people to buy their e-cash. GTA5 can add crazy new vehicles but what is there for the western setting of RDR2? How far are they willing to push or go beyond the setting? So make it super grindy so people buy the rockstar dollars to avoid the grind since they (possibly) wont cross the line of adding neon horses and flying carriages. Maybe I lack the imagination but I wonder where they will go with it.
