Diehard Minis (and a few other companies) are deliberately producing 'Oldhammer' style minis with the design sensibilities of the 80s but with more modern sculpting and casting techniques. Going for the nostalgia angle, which admittedly isn't to everyone's taste, but some of their stuff is neat.
