I think DDT has done some great intergender matches lately, there was one with Makoto Oishi and a partner vs his wife and her tag partner from their joshi promotion on a recent show and the female team had some amazing double team stuff to make up for the difference in strength and it worked really well. That said I don't know if anyone should trust Vince McMahon with the ability to have intergender matches and expect the same level of tact as a promotion famous for anal explosions

I mean I agree that given a proper push The Revival would probably be more worth my time than the Riott Squad but that's not a gender thing. Basically WWE's talent evaluation is trash for both men and women outside of a few examples that own in spite of WWE, not because of it.

I think the Smackdown women's main event has more heat and buzz going into TLC than almost any men's match going on. If we rewind to 2012 and were told that Charloette, hot off her match against Eddie Guerrero's daughter which was probably the worst FCW match I ever saw was wrestling against barely known SHIMMER wrestler Rebecca Knox and borderline blackballed from wrestling KANA were hotter than AJ Styles vs Bryan Danielson and Jon Moxley vs Tyler Black for the two main WWE titles who would have believed that poo poo

ambrose was pegged as a positioned main event player when he was still in developmental to the point that his upcoming debut and push became a meme. bryan was already a former 3 time champion. rollins was a former roh champion and the most pushed fcw talent. charlotte thing was believable because ric flairs daughter/is tall and blonde. KANA wasn't blackballed but her ever getting a job in the company definitely felt unlikely so i'll grant you that one.
