 https://www.twitch.tv/jpg_live Last Time: -Started right off the bad with pulling another player into my rat lair and killing them. Grabbed a few items and left for Brightstone Cove Tseldora. -Falconers, boars, and miners all hanging out and all killed with relative ease. -Found another mimic! This time I avoided bullshit and got his treasures. -Ventured into some halls filled with spiders that hate fire. -Ran into a "boss" that surrounded himself with weak-rear end minions to hide the fact that he was also a weak-rear end. -More spiders as I keep going along. -Met a guy who is friends of the spiders who will absolve me of my sins. -Spiders are... people? -Ran into our boy Pate having a fight with Creighton. Helped our boy Pate kill Creighton because gently caress Creighton. Pate gave me a key to his stash, and "neglected" to mention the traps. -Our wonderful partner in crime Bashful Ray returns one again to help me kill all these spider-people. -Another old NPC phantom friend joins us in spider-bashing. -So. Many. Spiders. Eventually get to a huge area covered in spiderwebs and spiders. At the bottom I find a new NPC buddy to join the party heck yeah. -Boss time: Huge armored spider that fires lasers and summons MORE spiders to help. Thanks to the power of friendship, we overcome this fight. -Get a super strong soul from a dead dragon. -Find a guy hanging out in a little library built next to the spider/dragon cave? Kill his dumb rear end. -Another Primal Bonfire is lit! Hooray! -Riding high on all this progress, I decide to go back and try a fight with my old nemesis, the Fume Knight. -Been studying him a lot and helping other people fight him as a phantom. I'm so ready to kill him. -HE IS DEAD gently caress YES WHO'S THE DARK SOULS BOSS NOW YOU DUMB poo poo gently caress YOU I AM THE BEST! Ending stream on a real high note and I'm a very happy boy. Thank you for another fun stream. Made lots of progress. -Time to explore another "branch." This time I went to the Grave of Saints. -Ultimately, it appears to be a very small area that's an extension of the Doors of Pharros, in that you lure people to your world to kill them. -Instead, I just made a bunch of acid pools show up that destroyed my equipment. -Quite possibly the lamest boss ever: A rat that is slightly tougher than a regular rat! -Grave connects to The Gutter. -Darkness, poison, and ramshackle structures make me think of swamps from games' past. -Found a locked door. Must investigate later. -Eventually, made my way through to another area; The Black Gulch. -Day-glo green poison statues, lampreys with hands for heads, big worms, and a few other demon creepy crawlies. -The worst NPC phantom ever joins the battle. Stands still like an idiot and gets poisoned repeatedly. -The BEST NPC phantom ever joins the battle. Bashful Ray is my best friend now. -A giant blob composed of people is the boss in this area. After accidentally walking into fire, I beat him on the second try thanks to Bashful Ray. I love you, Bashful Ray. -Another primal bonf- HOLY CRAP WHAT THE gently caress WHY DID A GIANT MANGLED FACE EXPLODE FROM THE GROUND. -Was told to find a guy named Vendrick. -Also looks like another DLC area is beyond the bonfire. If it's anything like the first DLC area I will cry. -Return to Majula, and the herald lady tells me to go to the castle. -I'm not sure where to go now, but maybe some previously locked areas are now available.
