Just now stumbling across this thread. Have been in the D&B thread, the Electro thread and even the UK garage threads and none of those posts were really doing it for me, so kind of stopped checking. Seen posts about Rezz and Jauz, Skrillex/Joyride combo new stuff, so thought I'd share a bunch of stuff that I've been bumping lately (some new, some old). Fisher is on the lineup for the 2019 edition of the EDM festival I've been going to every year for the past several years, but I wasn't familiar with his stuff. Other artists on the lineup are Dog Blood (Skrillex + Boys Noize), Excision, Griz, RL Grime, NGHTMRE, Slander, G Jones, 1788-L and MOTHERFUCKING DEATH GRIPS. I've seen a few of them before, but I still want to see them again, especially Death Grips, who I wouldn't say really belong in this thread but they definitely have some EDM influences.

I'm pretty new to EDM; I enjoyed stuff like Daft Punk and The Chemical Brothers but never really delved in until we saw Bassnectar live for the first time in June for Freestyle Sessions (which was also my first EDM show in general). Now I'm addicted after moving to Denver earlier this year and being bombarded with good live bass music. Hell yeah, I saw CloZee at a festival in March and she was dope. I'm all about more women getting into a scene that's traditionally male-dominated. That's part of the reason I'm so into Rezz. I mean she's mad talented, but she's also made a name for herself in a genre where most of the popular artists are guys. Alison Wonderland falls into that camp too. I don't listen to her stuff as often, but she's doing the drat thing. Elohim too!

Also they're streaming both weekends for the first time ever this year, so if you aren't able to go, there should be plenty of opportunities to catch some of these artists on the stream. (I'm most excited for Aphex Twin but I don't really think he belongs in this thread. He belongs in the long-dead IDM thread  )

He's not coming here this time, but I saw him in 2017 and his live show is energetic as gently caress. His stage presence is crazy too. He's like a mad synth scientist.

I saw Diplo at Echostage last night. He only played one of his own songs, a bit of Lean On, toward the end. The rest is the set was basically house. A bit surprising but nice.

I saw San Holo open for Porter Robinson & Madeon on their Shelter Tour and he was pretty awesome. He's actually coming to my hometown (Sacramento), which is pretty cool. Might have to go see him.
