We have the capability to make San Jose's first Cup Champion.

The Sharks could be that Champion.
eBay has a 15% off today, again, that applies to Lego. I just scored an original sealed UCS Tumbler for $199.50, shipped. Really excited.

Kind of a dumb thing to share, but I found 4065 Minifigure Display Case in black at Target mispriced today at $3.88. Other colors came up $12.99. If you're looking to pick any up, it could be worth the trip.

This'll help me to not buy it. I like it. I just am not sure I want to own it. I have Ninjago city and a couple Modulars. I'm ok to slowly expand those 2 lines a bit but I should probably not dabble or adventure outward if I can help it.

It depends on when.

When a set is new, probably Lego because you can often get goodies with it.

When it is getting close to retirement or old, then Target/WM/B&N all discount the sets. Ebay when they have 15% off coupons, like today, is also often a good spot.

In other words, everywhere and nowhere. Just do your homework and if you are patient you will find things discounted eventually. 90% of the sets get discounted at some point.

No way that’s less than $300 between piece count and Minifig tax.

$300 according to initial leaker now. For 3000+ pieces and that many minifigs it's not out of line. Better value than the new modular I think.

Also February.

Not a terrible price, but I thought there might be a chance of it being cheaper since Ninjago City was priced at $300 and had almost 2000 more parts and way more minifigures. To be fair it looks like there's a lot more big parts in that set and the actual mass of it appears comparable to NC.

Ninjago City was just a stupidly good deal for some reason. To the point it made me really hesitant about getting the docks for $70 less even though those are also priced pretty well compared to most sets.
