I dunno about you, but I was actually pretty goddamn impressed by the CG. Framerate aside, the characters were emotive, the choreography was punchy, and it just seemed like a lot of love was poured into it despite the technical limitations. It's also kinda thematically appropriate that the crappy CG of the first few episodes evolved into something that was actually cool and competent. Also holy poo poo I was loving dying at everything even slightly involving Tae. My favorite part was Tae munching on Sakura at the end  Strong contender for AOTY.

Yeah that was possibly the weakest episode aside from the LEGEND. What a cliffhanger to end on. There's a lot more they could do with this series. Please let there be more. I did appreciate how they desynced everyone and Tae at least was clearly using completely different animations. It looked a lot more natural than a lot of idol 3D.

It feels like they didn't utilize the fact they were zombies the entire episode (except for Tae). The Kotoro reveal was also... present. It's a shame they didn't close out on a high but still a very enjoyable show.

This was the Tae episode. Tae was amazing and she showed Sakura how much she cares in a very Tae way Legendary concert and I love the sequel hook. Second season and Granblue characters when Cygames

The finale was pretty quiet but honestly it's going to be hard to top Ep 5 in terms of comedy and Ep 8 in terms of feels. Basically: Endorph posted:tae really carried it lol Can't wait for season 2.

That was a pretty good finale. Loved that the CG was actually good in the final episode, contrary to previous episodes. The final song got me going pretty good as well, with the lyrics matching the mood. Part of me wants them to explain what Tae's deal is in a second season, part of me never wants to know.

I didn't like the parts with Tae in this episode as much as I could have because I spent the whole time dreading that she was going to speak normally to get through to Sakura. Shine on Tae, you Crazy Diamond.

Just saw the finale. I basically already had an idea of what it would be. I still absolutely loved it, cheesy moments, warts(, grunts) and all. Kotaro, you big dork. You big, stupid, beautiful dork.  Sakura is a good egg. Yugiri best mom. And Tae don't need no words to show she cares for her buddies, and that's why she's the best.

Great finale. I'm really hoping for a season 2. My favorite detail I saw pointed out was that right before the stage collapses Ai starts motioning for people to back away and keeps on performing. She freaking knew what was about to happen and just pushed through it while warning others. She was also the first person to get up and keep going after. What a little badass. I do wish they'd given Yugiri a bit more spotlight and development. She may have living descendants. Or a customer who became a famous/infamous historical figure. I don't know if it's a good or bad sign that having her be a single mother back then would likely cause a lot more harrumphing and huffing than Lily being trans and happy.
