Entrapta is autistic in that she is:
- Hyperlexic. Entrapta frequently uses language unfamiliar to others in her acquaintance. She has very little awareness of conversational register, and thus has difficulty in situationally modulating her vocabulary, unless there are significant emotional stakes.
- Hypersensorial. Entrapta has clear sensory triggers and sensitivities. This is exemplified by her having preferred clothing that has familiar tactile properties. Additionally, her explicit requirement for tiny food is a sensory sensitivity in that food consumption has many sensory aspects: olfactory properties, mouthfeel, temperature, oleic properties, caloric density, volume, visual presentation, plating - you name it. As such, Entrapta's sensorium is calibrated to the tiny food for her own reasons.
