As long as people can get a cash advance or similar from a credit card, I don't expect this will change anything other than causing an inconvenience to whatever possible shooter and upsetting legitimate customers. And given the weird affinity lots of gun people have for paying only in cash, it's not like someone paying for thousands of dollars in purchases would raise any eyebrows either.

I've spent almost $70k on work travel this year. It's not strictly necessary for survival, but it's nice to be able to charge the flights and hotels to a credit card so that I'm not personally paying out money for any of it until I'm reimbursed.
