Santa Summer House and Jack Frost were both funny, but I hope next year they find another bizzare rear end Christmas movie like Whizzo or Ice Cream Bunny.

I first saw the Whizzo Rifftrax a couple of years ago, I think. At one point, some object was flung onto the set towards Whizzo's general direction, and Mike followed it up with something like "Resignations on the Whizzo set were rarely delivered verbally". At which point I had to pause the video, because I was laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes.

Rewatching Rollergator, I don't find it as funny as other people here but it just struck me that Joe Estevez looks and acts more like a puppet than the titular Gator.

A member of the Detroit Lions got a concussion today, and a lion at a zoo escaped and killed an intern. I got them mixed up and thought "Yeah, a lion killing a football player sounds about right for a Rifftrax".

IM SORRY I CANT HEAR YOU OVER THE GUITAR NOODELING

Anyway 'The Dark' is indeed about 80% darkness and 15% plot (last 5% reserved for ugly)

The only thing I can recommend from this day's watching is 'The Miami Connection'

To be fair, I actually enjoy the Apple's story and songs. It's just the campiness that gets in the way of them all. And I love that the bad guy was also the Russian commander in Red Dawn.

Rollergator has no excuse. Put your money into inventing a time machine so you can go back and ensure it was never made instead.

That is the most succinct way to explain the problem with the reboot. It's a shame too because the movie selection for both seasons is really good for the most part.

It’s really sad to see the movies they are doing and know that Rifftrax would do so much better, but most likely won’t ever get the chance.

Anyone else notice that the new MST3K has two big problems when it comes to the jokes? I feel like they never give a joke time to breathe, and some movies seem like 75% of the jokes are just bad poop jokes.

From what I understand it's from a difference in writing the jokes. In the original seasons, they had a writers room. Everyone was together collaborating.

The new show is not like that. They have funny people just emailing jokes and stuff and I guess they pick what gets put in. It seems to not be as tight. Also Elliot Kalan is the head writer and he's about as funny as cancer.

It's not.

I got halfway through it and bailed. It's okay to be zany and wacky and such, but not every single loving sentence and scene.

Gone Whalin' was much better.
