I didn't earn any help, don't offer it to me, let me live on rice and beans for a couple weeks, i can handle it. How did you get here, spend too much on loot boxes again? *I was out watching Aqua Man and then drinking with my brother yesterday, and right now am hung over as gently caress. There is value to this kind of feeling, it reminds you that everything has a price. When I feel physically good I can remember today, and know that, that, is not guaranteed. doverhog has a new favorite as of 07:08 on Dec 30, 2018 |

Loot boxes are kind of like the lottery machines pensioners play... I only partake in noble forms of gambling, like betting that Jon Jones is gonna win by KO/TKO.

I have a seldom-used little notebook where I write down what people owe me and what I owe other people. If they never pay me back, I don't mind too much (even though I have a sort of avaricious attitude to money), because having the record of it is enough for me.

Great indebtedness does not make men grateful, but vengeful; and if a little charity is not forgotten, it turns into a gnawing worm.

Writing Stabler out of SVU was the biggest mistake they ever made. He was what made the show. The watered down replacement caresi or whatever is just boring. The only good post-stabler episode was the gamergate one and that is solely because of the greatness of Ice T.

No, it's from this one from earlier this year: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MtvrlmbF-CY It included a scene where they go into "the dark web" and find a site called "Incel Message Board" where users have names like "Hateful One" and "Phallus Power".

It should be standard for shower curtain rods to be securely bolted to the wall. The fact that rods which stay up due to friction is the standard is shameful. As a society we should've progressed past that decades ago.

I think it depends on your definition of good actor. The rock is good at being a person in movies, as long as he's playing a character that suits his strengths. You give him a different character, like in Doom, and he's not good at all. Some people think that being a good actor means you have to be able to do a bunch of different roles well. That dates back to the olden days of acting troupes where they had four people and every one of them had to be able to do every job in the theater and play every part. That definition of good actor is horribly outdated. Dwayne Johnson is a good actor.

He is pretty one dimensional, but he does that one dimension pretty well. He's kind of like Jason Statham - most of what he puts out is pretty unremarkable and just "tough guy beats the bad guys up in a suit" over and over, but occasionally he'll put out amazing stuff like Crank. I'm not sure if The Rock has found his "Crank" yet, but I liked him best in Fast and Furious 5. He's very good at playing whatever you want to call that character.
