I couldn't stand Peaky Blinders. Sam Neil and Cillian Murphy are top notch performers but contemporary music slow walks, Sons of Anarchy style "brotherhood" bullshit and all was just too much to take. Never even made it to the point that Hardy shows up.

All the Peaky Blinders seasons are pretty dumb. The plots get progressively crazier, the exaggerated style that the puppy bowl mentioned get progressively more pronounced, and the writing is always full of last minute deus ex machinas that require a bunch of nonsensical twists and characters acting in nonsensical ways. But it is pretty fun watching Tom Hardy.

I think it all depends on how compelling you find the performances. I loved the dynamic between the leads.

Black books Coupling (not the horrible american remake) That Mitchell and Webb Look Peep Show Spaced and for much older stuff that is still good: A bit of fry and laurie blackadder mr. bean red dwarf maybe fawlty towers, although I haven't watched that in a really long time so I'm not sure if it holds up, I remember some racisms about the spanish-only waiter Master Stur posted:The IT Crowd was good. Power through I think the second or third episode (the one about her shoes) and make it to the really good stuff.

Walked my dog by a new-ish falafel place in my neighborhood and now I want falafel for dinner, but don't know if it want it so much that I'm willing to walk back to it. Wish more of the to-go food places around here would let me bring my dog in but I totally get why they don't.
