I gained a lot of respect for the Buffalo Bills organization reading about how they treated Kevin Everett. I'm baffled that I forgot that whole thing. I was definitely an active football fan at that time.

But yeah, maybe, someday, OSU will realize that they'll always be number one in town, that the dumb (and finally decent) hockey team they tried their hardest to abort isn't really a threat and they'll let the NHL use The Shoe for something everybody can enjoy rather than claiming "Aw shucks, we turn the water off and can't turn it back on". If Gene can swing that, maybe I'll come in on my treason charges.
