...like their extra comfortable lives somehow delayed puberty, or they just never got stabbed in the eyes for their toilet wine or jumped every day while walking home or whatever. also i noticed how a lot of rich kids tended to be obnoxious around strangers in an unfamiliar way to me, like, oversharing while constantly whining and acting arrogant about random poo poo or something i dunno. Whereas doing that in the projects would get u...stabbed in the eyes for that toilet wine lmao

You could go to a party in a certain neighborhood and it felt like you were partying in a literal palace, then drive ten minutes to another neighborhood and it's borderline trailerpark territory and partying in somebody's unfinished basement. i grew up in a middle class family when I was very young and I had some nice things and stuff and then my dad could not stop spending and we lost it all and by the time I moved out when I graduated college we had gone from doing pretty decent to living in a run down RV in rural texas its so weird remembering a somewhat decent time in my life and not having to worry about anything day to day and going toward just wondering when I could eat like I often had to choose between having some breakfast or lunch or having gas money for school that day.
