Everyone has seen Idiocracy at this point. Everyone has said, "yeah, that's happening." The movie was a great conversation starter. Use the general acceptance of its premise to point out that implicit in the premise is the idea that IQ has a strong genetic component. Literally, that's what the movie was about. I say that progressives don't value intelligence because, in light of the fact that intelligence has a strong genetic component, progressives encourage the letting of intelligence through two separate and detrimental vectors. Firstly, progressives are bent on the importation of peoples from parts of the world where the average IQ is sub 80. Secondly, progressives encourage the overbreeding of low IQ (read: trailer trash, as represented by the movie and fundamentally accepted in any conversation in which the movie Idiocracy has been verified) by promoting welfare, a program that takes money from the wealthy high earners (which are obviously, on average, more intelligent), and giving welfare money to Cletus, allowing him to have even more children. This movie is important. Use it as a conversation starter, because everyone can see it coming true, and the very important truism that the development of the most complex object in the known universe, the human brain, obviously has incredibly strong influence by genetics.
