The vocal mix is pretty bad on this, unfortunately.

I've dug all the on stage proshot stuff from this tour. It makes it feel way more hectic.

Yeah, this is something, but it's ripped from a stream and there are compression artifacts and poo poo so it's not official or anything.

I agree, though. I do like the way this and the other pro-shot stuff that's come out so far is shot.

I'd really like a whole concert film shot like this, though we were supposed to get a Blu-Ray of the Tension tour and that never happened lol

That ain't the mix, that's just a real lackluster vocal performance

Y'all should see Bird Box. I had no idea Trent and Atticus scored it, but during, I noticed some of the almost dissonant piano riffs were very Reznor-ish.

Also, it's a pretty good film.

Oh did they? poo poo, I had no idea either. I'll have to add that to the list in the OP, and I'll have to watch it later too, although I'd been hearing that it wasn't so great.

I read an article about that, where it was talking about how a movie is usually judged unfairly if it's from/produced/primarily released by Netflix. I don't know if that's what caused the general reviews of it, and I'm no movie critic, but I found it just as compelling as A Quiet Place.

The flow is similar to it, too; the apocalypse happens due to weird and dangerous entities, and survivors have to adhere to new behaviour in order to survive. A Quiet Place dealt with sound, this deals with sight.

Edit for clarification.

A Quiet Place was one of my favorite movies of the year, so that plus Trent and Atticus having scored it has my curiosity piqued for sure!

Watched Bird Box and thought it was just okay. Felt like a cross between one of the later Saw movies (with a group of people all being stuck together and figuring out how to get past traps and getting killed off one by one) and The Walking Dead. I feel like where A Quiet Place followed the "show, don't tell" rule (which I appreciated), this did the exact opposite.

The score was the best part about it, but it wasn't that prominent (outside of a couple scenes) or memorable. It felt kinda standard, not like something that could've only come from Trent and Atticus.

As far as Trent and Atticus film scores from 2018, I still prefer Mid90s. At least that felt like it had a more defined, unique style, even if it was only like 12 or 13 minutes worth of music.

My impression was the Deviation series meant Fragile was 1, and if there is a 2 would be another of his albums given a similar treatment.

no idea. just have an inside source that said they put a hold request for the venue for that date. for all we know it could just be sound checking or private party or a just in case thing.
