Back when I was working animal control, I once got a call about a goat in a residential neighborhood. After some searching, I found it on the parkway eating grass. It was also wearing a dog collar. Totally tame, and I put a leash on it and led it back to my truck. When I opened up the backseat to grab my gloves so I could load it on the truck, it just jumped in. At first I was like, "no, you can't ride back there" but then I thought why not? I'd let older or really nice critters ride there from time to time so why not a pet goat? Closed the door and got in the driver's seat. It was late spring so I had my window down. Goat stuck its head out the window like a dog. I pulled up to a stoplight and the people in the car next to me were like I pretended to be oblivious to the fact there was a goat in my truck bleating at other cars. The owners came and picked her up immediately, they were an older couple who would bring the goat down to play with the grandkids and she rode in their car all the time. Rexie got so many new clothes over the holidays. Her cuddle factor has also been increasing exponentially as her health continues to improve (leaving to travel for a week also gave that a bump as she now has to make up for lost time). She had another recheck right before we left and most of her intestines are well within normal limits again. There are only a few spots of very minor inflammation left, so she's now on the bare minimum dose of her steroids. That's pretty goddamn impressive given how bad she was; the one doctor said it's the worst he'd seen in decades of practicing.

Is there a way to link instagram photos on this forum? I am obsessed with this cat that I'm pretty sure is some kind of minor trickster god. https://www.instagram.com/rubletherussian/?hl=en
