everytime i've seen a botl post i usually agree with what ever point they're making, but they write in the most obnoxious and aggressive way possible that it doesn't matter if they're making a good point or not because i never want to actually read anything they write.

For a very vocal minority of posters, the absolute worst thing you can do is earnestly and unironically enjoy and discuss something, either because that's the internet they came of age in or because they're misanthropes. People who do are the reason The Forums Aren't Funny Anymore, and they'll respond with either relentlessly negative contrarianism, constant flippantly dismissive posts, or a plaintive wail of "but I thought Something Awful was a comedy website!"

What REALLY gets me about that AGDQ thing is all the people who are like “FAU so lame, NSFW is okay!” Like, first of all, you can’t post NSFW poo poo inline on the forums. That’s not some new thing. A lot of people there seemed to think that rule should not be enforced because it was a coolcasualchill thread but, well, no. Second though, the people who got probated did so because the porny fanart they posted or emptyquoted was depciting underage characters. How are you not onboard with that probation? Yet, the thread got closed because people went insane over those drat fascist mods lot letting them post some awesome pictures of the kids from Splatoon licking each other.
