 https://www.twitch.tv/jpg_live Last Time: -The covenant I'm currently in opens up some little challenge areas to go through, so I went and did those with a little bit of difficulty. -Finishing those areas lets you fight a special boss. An actual goddamn angel who split into two and fights you with dark magic. Beat it and moved on. -Returning to the Shrine of Amana, I continually ran a gauntlet as I explored side paths and died a lot. -Mages that spam magic attacks, lizards hiding in water, ambushes, ogres, dropoffs you can't see very well. It made me very sad. -After taking a breath, I managed to get through, and then summoned two NPC phantoms to help me with what I thought was a boss. -Not a boss, just a huge arena with lots of enemies. My shade peaced out here, but my phantom (Felicia the Brave) was EXCELLENT in killing dudes for me. -Further along WAS a boss; A giant frog that pulled its skin back to reveal a skull monster inside. Not too hard, but unsettling. -Continued along to an area with a bonfire... that I can't access because I don't have a Fragrant Branch of Yore. Now I'm sad. I hate Dark Souls 2 now. -Went back to Drangleic Castle to free the singing girl locked up by a gimp strapped to a door. -Ventured forth into the Undead Crypt. -Tons of rocks make it a bitch to get around because you gotta smash them and that eats up so much durability. -Infinitely-spawning dickheads ring bells to infinitely summon other dickheads. -Met a guy who hates light and won't shut up about it. -Got to the boss, who was just a big boring knight dude blocking the path to the King. -The King is a giant naked dude. I took his ring. -Ring lets me open doors I couldn't before. -First door in Forest of Fallen Giants. Nothing there except a couple items and a dead giant I can't do anything with. -Second door in Shaded Woods that opens into Aldia's Keep. -Met Lucatiel, for the last time. RIP buddy. -Got invaded by her brother and reunited them in death. Probably. -HUGE dragon skeleton draped over stairs. -Guys coming out of mirrors to attack me. -I hosed UP BAD APPARENTLY. -I see a fog wall, so I go to explore around the area first before going through. -I see a lever. Encouraged to pull it. I pull lever. -Fog wall was NOT a fog wall, but was keeping a guy locked up. -I was not supposed to let this guy out. -Now I can't do his questline and can't get items I need to get all trophies in the game. -New Game+ guaranteed. -I'm sad. -Get to a dead end and I don't know what to do.
