  I'm coming up on a Legend of the Five Rings game, and I'm gonna be using printouts of pictures for the NPCs. As it turns out, there's lots and lots of cool art of samurai and shugenja and nobles. Does anyone have pictures of Asian medieval peasants, farmers, bandits, and merchants? I don't want to just use the card game art, because the players all play the card game and I don't want them thinking of the characters in terms of their deck meta applications.

So I took part in a rather unforgettable Chronicles of Darkness larp here in Finland and commissioned a painting from an artistic friend. My character was a ghoul who was killed and who returned as a Sin-Eater and I think the painting came out rather well: https://imgur.com/a/rVAwDA2

Best I can find:     It seems key words like "sad" or "skinny" orc/half-orc translate to "pretty boy" for most artists. You might try looking up Critical Role Fjord fan art. He's a half-orc warlock with 11 strength, so he's got the weediness, who pulls out his tusks at one point, so he's got the self-rejection and gloominess.

Sending out a call for a big dumb tough human! Fantasy or modern, someone just huge and stupid and mad about it. The kind of guy who you take one look at and immediately scan as a first-episode big villain whose entire role in the plot is to get flattened to show how cool the good guys are. Cartoony or anime style ideal, a big dumb viking helmet would be a plus but isn't a must.
