Speaking of dinosaurs I basically got pet magpies that hang out in my yard and raid my compost bin now. They follow me around chirruping when I'm gardening cause of all the bugs I dig up while weeding or raking. Dinosaurs/birds own. Edit: Australian magpies. Which are basically crows and as such have tons of personality.

i always wonder how you could translate super high concept sci fi like the quantum thief into visual media, where combat is fought at all levels and scales of reality. forget dealing with weaponized basilisks, you have to deal with and develop countermeasures against hostile entities stealing your brain scans and probing them under torture for your weaknesses

There's a reason "science fiction" as a literary genre and as a setting for films/TV/anime are such different beasts.
