When the same thing happens (if we're comfortable for time to win) we just stop dealing damage to prolong the battle, and bail out if they aren't going to rejoin in time.

Nope, it crashed out on me between the lobby and the battle. I thought I’d have time to reboot the game and get back in, but it went super weird on me and took way longer than normal, and I didn’t want to be a bother to these people because a lot of them work in my building and it was only the second time I’d raided with them. I think it was something to do with the raid being in an area where the work wifi almost but not quite reaches - the game seems to hate switching from wifi to mobile. On a somewhat related note, I only learned yesterday that a raid pass gives you multiple attempts to beat the boss. Is there a limit on that?

Dang Groudon has a long "cooldown" after he attacks. One bounced two shots I couldn't afford to lose because I aimed to hit him while he appeared to just be standing there post-attack but was in fact still invulnerable. A warning to anyone else who didn't know this!

I found out that starting your curve ball wind-up as he's retreating his arm from the blow works.

He's got all those "active frames" that don't really make sense.

If there's 45 minutes on the timer, you're more than welcome to try and beat him 8 times or whatever. Last year I used the same raid pass to try and solo an Arcanine four times before I finally succeeded.

A 100% Groudon ran from me yesterday and I didn't know it was a perfect until I asked the Discord afterwards. It was a ton of silver pinaps wasted and I shot like 75% excellent throws.

And aren't they out of official fairy type move names to make one into a fast move? They'd have to make something up at this point like Glitter Hail or whatever.

They could switch one that's currently a charge move and make it a quick move. Like draining kiss is a super weak charge move, just make the charge version legacy and start adding it as a fast move.

Fairy Wind is a weak Fairy move from the games that is yet to be implemented in Go and would fit in perfectly as a fast move. There's definitely a bunch of spare status moves that could be retconned too.

I raided a Kyogre today, got 7 balls, the first one spazzed off sideways because my phone decided I was hitting the menu buttons, the second one missed because I didn't realise how far away from the screen it was, and then the rest all failed. Hopefully I get another chance.

I can never actually catch Kyogre, it always escapes. 12 balls and it doesn’t give a poo poo about any of them, one roll and out (and yeah I’m doing all of the tricks). Groudon is like the exact opposite and I always get it.
