Alternative, maybe Vampire Hunter D is the legendary good VN? I don't know, but the second anime almost was good enough to no longer be considered anime.

Most of my Latvia news comes from my weird neighbour or one of my coworkers so its not always the whole story. I know the KGB thing is suspected to be a tactic to sow dissent by some people but I dont know the scale to which that point is taken.

MLK is a silent generation, as are the beat poets and the beatles. also bernie sanders. everyone who would be in their 70s or 80s today
