Louis Taylor just kicked off the PFL finals with a quick KO. He's going home with a million dollars for throwing one punch.

Vinny Magalhaes finally ran into someone that could avoid getting submitted inside of 45 seconds And that man's name is Sean O'Connell, who won every fight in the PFL tournament by first getting punched half to death first. #GodIsGreat

I didn't know O'Connel had even left the UFC. It's not surprising. Great to see him get a win, though.

The first ONE Championship show of 2019, Eternal Glory, was yesterday. It looks like in addition to that Turner thing, whatever that was, they premise of the organization in 2019 is "all fights, all live, all free" on Youtube. As far as PRIDE NEVER DIE goes, ONE has Lenne Hardt, they have grounded knees, and they have fights judged in their entirety. It looks like their fight class names are one off all the way down because their Heavyweight goes up to 285, Light Heavyweight is 225, and Middleweight is 205, and so on. I only watched the main event for this one. It was a good fight, with some really cool sequences. Probably worth your time. ONE calls this belt Strawweight but it's a 125 lb weight limit, so it will theoretically be Demetrious Johnson's division to challenge in soon. ONE Strawweight World Championship - Joshua Pacio (Champion) vs Yosuke Saruta (Shooto Champion) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=je1WB4ohzog&t=16707s If you watch the rest of the show and there are any other good fights, please post. Next show is Friday and has a "Flyweight World Championship" fight, which is 135 pounds. Geje Eustaquio, the champion, takes on Adriano Moraes. There's also the first Lightweight (170) World Grand Prix fight between Honorio Banario and Lowen Tynanes, who are definitely two real people and not two names I made up.

I just watched two rounds of a Karate Combat fight (because its live on fight pass). The striking was some of the most woeful ive ever seen, and that includes local amateur kickboxing shows. Not sure if it'll change in other fights, but not gonna find out lol

I watched the top two of ONE Championship Hero's Ascent. It looks like the ONE app's format is an unlisted Youtube stream, that you can then load into your browser and copy to watch wherever is most convenient for you to watch Youtube. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JBM6oyUcp0E The top two fights start at around 3:44 in the file. Here's the bracket for the Lightweight World Grand Prix In the LWGP fight, Lowen Tynanes looked very impressive. Looking forward to seeing him in the next round, presumably they are expecting against Eddie Alvarez. Main event was Geje Eustaquio vs Adriano Moraes for the Flyweight championship. Round 2 was very, very good. Round 4 had the most insane submission attempt I have seen in a while. I recommend this fight. Not sure either of these guys would theoretically have that much for Demetrious Johnson, though. Monday there's a "Hero Series" show that seems to be like a Dana White Contenders thing that I probably won't watch. Next actual show is Clash of Legends on 2/16 in Bangkok, though the show is Muay Thai themed and the main event is for the Bantamweight Muay Thai belt. I guess I'll keep watch for the promotion and try to figure out when they next have a premium level MMA fight? There might be a tournament fight on the 2/22 show?

Bellator with 3 hours 15 minutes alloted for 5 fights. Downtime between fights is going to be off the hook. Most of these aren’t exactly the kinds of fights that seem like they’ll even go to decision.
