Keeping in mind that I think some foreign leaders are looking to Nancy for stability unofficially since she was supposed to go and make rounds to make our NATO allies comfortable with the US. I think during Trump's remaining Term she's gonna have some clout.

Paul Ryan had constant problems from 2010 to 2016 herding the Freedom Caucus back into the fold every time there was even a half-way contentious vote, and they totally hosed him on several of his smaller projects, if not on his signature pieces of legislature (Obamacare repeal, tax cuts). This was partly because a Speaker's main tools for forcing compliance are awarding and revoking committee seats and the withholding or de-prioritizing of campaign fundraising, but Paul Ryan had real problems resorting to that last tool, because fractious Tea Party types could always run off and suck up to the Kochs to get more money.

This is a more specific accounting of the House GOP's failure than me simply saying that they failed on the merits of the policies, so I guess I'll back off this hill.

Yeah never forget the greatest Paul Ryan moment, when Joe Biden unleashed all the raw contempt he wasn't allowed to use on Palin in that debate. Surely an improvement.

I actually would not mind this being a reversal of enormous power the President has, and more powers coming back to the Legislature. We have given far too much power to the Executive for too long, and it's high time it swings back a bit.

Setting up the Speaker of the House as a Prime Minister-lite position contrast to the President is not a bad idea

This is not constitutional, it says explicitly that there must be a Supreme Court with permanent lifetime appointments. Appointing additional justices (after legislation allowing it) is absolutely constitutional, though.

Merge the circuit courts into the supreme court. All circuit judges become supreme court judges, that mostly hear formerly circuit court cases. Add 100 judges to the now expanded supreme/circuit court. Random panel of 9 judges to hear formerly supreme court cases.

Rich people are only lucky. Hard work does not contribute to their wealth, it is only luck. Luck is something you will NEVER hear a rich person even admitting exists. If luck exists, it delegitimizes their success, and conversely, legitimizes others’ poverty, because for luck to exist, an equal and opposite bad luck must also exist.
And none of that factors into their divinity.
