Expect My Mom posted:god this show owns. like, i really don't mean for this to be as disparaging as it sounds, but like, i cannot imagine watching black clover or attack on titan or whatever shounen after you watch a dude unzip himself and his heart to avoid getting hooked by an intangible fishing line I can't really speak for black clover but I don't think anyone who's stuck with AoT did so for the action. Like yeah, the action is gorgeous, but the appeal of the story is that it is a thriller about finding out the truth of the setting and how the political intrigue will resolve. Also it's okay to like multiple things, it doesn't make you like jojo any less. Jojo doesn't demand you to be exclusive. Let me tell you about my polyanime relationship. I love that Araki put his own spin on the classic story of a novice who steps up to reach his true potential and fulfill his mentor's wishes after he's killed by their enemies, except the protagonist of this coming-of-age story is an assassin with self-esteem issues and his newfound confidence just puts our actual hero into deep poo poo.

The actua drawings that composed the animation of the major dramatic moments from the last 3 episodes were kind of poo poo but it didn't matter because they made me feel that badass poo poo was going down

I don't remember the handle of the actual Chinese->English translator (who was from the Philippines I think?) but he worked alongside VeggieH8R, who I guess did the editing and type-setting. They were just a couple of dudes really happy to be translating Jojo which was popular there due to the Capcom fighting game. The translation was fast and lovely because nobody was aiming for (or cared about) quality. here's something that I see why they cut; there's a bit where Bruno goes for the final beatdown but Pesci just dips inside the turtle and threatens everyone, and that's when Bruno does the unzipping his arm thing to reach inside the turtle and get him out     it's criminal that this gag was cut tho   also this chapter ends on No. 6 remembering that they gotta go check on Mista, who is probably fine!
