Conclusion of previous fight Deep AI Generated Kobold gets a torn up leg for his first strike effort. Naked Snake charges a few times but can't quite land on the slippery Kobold. They dance back and forth attempting to locate further weaknesses.  Daisy and Fourlearned Is finally reach each other. With Deep AI and Naked Snake oblivious to everything but their own fight the other two gladiators are left to single combat.  Daisy strikes a powerful blow to the chest slamming the molemarian's ribs into her lungs. Despite the size of the silver warhammer Daisy wields it with a fine grace.  More bolts, javelins, and pilums leave the crossbows and hands of the ranged combatants once more. Deep AI dodges a javelin aimed at his back and doesn't lose a beat in his battle with Naked Snake. NotTheEuphrates and Frick aim at Fourlearned Is to help Daisy finish the four legged beast. But they are blocked! TWICE.   Daisy not one to let an opportunity go to waste tenderizes Fourlearned Is' head and spine a bit. Fourlearned Is drops to the ground. Heavily injured she still displays some rather agile groundwork and Daisy begins to struggle to hit the molemarian. Dumb dog.  Deep AI buries her iron pick into the lower body of Naked Snake pulverizing the pancreas. He strikes again and lodges it into the snakeman's arm. All is fair in love and war so Naked Snake stabs the kobold's right forearm with a dagger probably near the size of the kobold's leg. Taking advantage of the shock Naked Snake tackles Deep AI bringing him to the ground.  Frick moves to assist Daisy in shredding the rest of Fourlearned Is' body. Daisy manages to crush three of her four legs before he gets some damage in. NotTheEuphrates begins crawling over to Naked Snake seeing his kobold comrade in danger.  It is too late, Naked Snake has had enough and removes Deep AI's head from his body. Several fighters comment on the horror of battle but seem to do it in earnest. The first fighter has fallen. Or was cut to ribbons little bit of both, RIP DEEP AI   Now I don't know who threw this javelin but they did and it hit Naked Snake hard. Frick repeatedly stabs Fourlearned Is over and over. Twisting and pulling on the pilum with each attack. During this heinous beatdown NotTheEuphrates manages to launch a javelin at Bowbold the Bold who has taken a rather smart approach to the fight, Stay far away and shoot people with iron bolts. Dwarfs can be quite clever. For the tigerwoman's reward for slashing an artery open in Bowbold's leg he chips bones and limb ligaments in NotTheEuphrates's right thigh.  Polybolos in Strangler Camo throws a javelin at Daisy missing her but distracting her enough that Naked Snake can slash her foot causing her to fall over. The strangler also manages to hit NotTheEuphrates in her left leg with a javelin bringing her amount of times to be hit by projectiles up to 4!.  Frick finally finishes perforating Fourlearned Is and leaves her to bleed to death. It is now a 3v3 but with two fighters unable to stand things stay in the favor of Team Feels A Bit Chilly.  Things continue to move in their favor. Polybolos in Strangler Camo starts scrapping with Daisy and Frick. Naked Snake focuses himself on killing the werewolf woman. Frick tries to stop him by lodging his pilum into his hand.   Frick's attack weakens Naked Snake enough that Daisy and NotTheEuphrates can land a few attacks of their own finally bringing the snake man to the bloodslicked floor with them. While they have suffered tremendous injures in taking him down they hope with Frick's continued stabbing technique that his life will end soon.    NotTheEuphrates savagely bites Naked Snake in the neck. Bowbold the Bold and Polybolos in Strangler Camo defend their teammate from further damage.  Frick regains his pilum and attempts to continue his assault on Naked Snake. Daisy tries to help but Naked Snake is having none of this slashing her head as she grabs him.  Polybolos in Strangler Camo raises his pilum and drives it through the skull of NotTheEuphrates. Perhaps she would have lived longer but a prior blow to the skull damaged her copper cap reducing its effectiveness. As the strangler pulled his weapon free Naked Snake continued to stab Daisy in the upper body until Frick strikes the serpent's hand with the pilum's shaft causing him to drop his iron dagger.   Naked Lunch recognizes that he does not need weapons to fight such heavily injured opponents. He bites the werewolf and pumps his deadly and paralyzing venom into her bloodstream. Poloybos in Strangler Camo moves and prevents Frick from impaling Naked Snake in a similar way to the deceased Fourlearned Is. An artery opens and Frick falls to the fround Daisy is now fully paralyzed. The situation is truly dire. Bowbold the Bold takes aim once more and fires a bolt into the kobold's left arm breaking away bone, bruising the muscle and planting itsself inside. Angered by this Frick stabs Naked Snake in the chest piercing and tearing his right lung. The serpent man gasps for air and continues fighting. Frick strikes again planting his pilum into Naked Snake's lower left arm ruining the nerves.    Naked Snake bites Frick and dumps venom into the small creature. Frick manages to stab the lower left arm of Naked Snake again. Poloybos in Strangler Camo bashes Daisy about the head and neck. The venom does its job and prevents Frick from doing anything but look in horror as he is reduced to complete defenselessness. Naked Snake shakes him around like a doll tearing fat, muscles, tendons, and ligaments.  Naked Snake stops shaking Frick long enough to allow Poloybos in Strangler Camo to drive his weapon fully through the skull of Frick killing him instantly. With the kobold's death Three Strong Women & Frick is reduced to a mangled mess of the werewolf Daisy.    The strangler and the serpent man leave no quarter and dive upon Daisy. She bites and snaps at Naked Lunch even actually biting his head and hurting him further but these strikes are not enough. Bowbold the Bold fires another bolt into the melee and finds Daisy's left lower leg. The beating and venom causes Daisy to pass out from exhaustion.    Poloybos in Strangler Camo goes berserk and stabs and stabs at the head of Daisy. After realizing the helmet is somehow still functioning the strangler tears it off and plunges the iron pilum through the head and embeds it into the arena floor. WINNER: Feels A Bit Chilly 3-1 Kills: Poloybos in Strangler Camo 3 Frick 1 Combat Log

Nice writeup! But yeah. You now understand why burnout is a thing and I've been racking my brains for ways to make writing fights up easier. You definitely don't need to step through the whole fight - I tended to let it run for a second or two and then look up what happened in the log. Nor do you need to record every single hit, just the really significant/interesting ones. Also I personally don't look at the images much, even when it's my fight. They are just there to break up the wall of text as getting any actual info out of them involves peering and comparing minutely with earlier images. If I wrote up another fight I think I'd probably only have a couple of screenshots and break up the rest with funny pics from Deviantart..

What the combat log really needs is a record function. That way you can just run the whole fight, see who wins, then go through the combat log, find interesting bits, rewind to them, and take screenshots then instead of trying to do it in the middle of the fight. This will probably never work because of Toad Coad, but it'd be nice.

 Round 3, Fight 3 WELCOME, ladies and gentlemen, to the Arena. Before us today stand eight proud warriors, each and everyone ready to lay down their lives for our entertainment. The excitement is high, and the tension between the teams is palpable. This is looking to be a hell of a fight, Armok be praised! For those of you who forgot to grab your free leaflet by the entrance, let me give you a quick rundown of the teams. Morning Routine (1-1) is on the left side of the arena. The Shaver of Beards (Cythereal) is a male elf. He wields an iron halberd and wears leather low boots. Bogroll (Maugrim) is a male goblin. He wields a steel great axe and wears a copper cap, a copper mail shirt, copper leggings, copper gauntlets, and copper high boots. Thys Akimbo (grobbendonk) is a female minotaur. She is empty handed and wears an iron helm, an iron breast plate, and iron leggings. Game of Throwns (Cathode Raymond) is a male strangler. He wields two copper pilums and wears an iron helm, an iron mail shirt, and iron leggings. Big Trouble (1-1) is on the right side of the arena. A copper hammer wielding dwarf (Bad Munki) is a female tigerman. She wields an iron pilum and wears an iron cap, an iron mail shirt, and iron low boots. Chuck (Mygna) is a male minotaur. He wields a bronze pilum and wears no armor. Captain Jodariel (dmboogie) is a female troll. She wields a silver two-handed sword and a copper two-handed sword and wears a silver helm, a copper mail shirt, and copper low boots. Meteor Spin (I R SMART LIKE ROCK) is a female tigerman. She wields an iron great axe and a wooden shield and wears no armor. Big Trouble is a 1.62 to 1 betting favorite in this match with 5851.00 dwarfbucks in total bets placed on them, compared to 3601.00 dwarfbucks for Morning Routine. All bets are final. The horn has been blown, and the fight has begun! Chuck chucks his {bronze javelin} and it strikes The Shaver of Beards in the left lower arm, spraying blood everywhere. The force of the throw snapped the elfs arm back like a whip! Not to be outdone by his team mate, A copper hammer wielding dwarf throws her {iron javelin} at Bogroll, and it strikes the goblin in the neck! Bogroll loses hold of the steel great axe and falls over. Right in the nerves! A copper hammer wielding dwarf’s glee is shortlived, though, as seconds later Game of Throwns {copper javelin} strikes her in the right lower leg! She loses all sense and falls over! What an opening! The match is of to a great and bloody start! In the middle, Thys Akimbo and Meteor Spin join battle, and Meteor Spin gets its paw gored! As The Shaver of Beards and Captain Jodariel engage, Meteor Spin retaliates and hacks Thys Akimbo in the right lower leg! Thys Akimbo falls over! Captain Jodariel, Meteor Spin, The Shaver of Beards, and Thys Akimbo are all engaged in a 2v2 in the middle, and they are all showing why they are in the arena! They exchange blow after heavy blow, but they hardly seem to notice their wounds! Suddenly, Captain Jodariel falls over! Could this be the break Morning Routine has been waiting for? Nope. Meteor Spin hacks Thys Akimbo in its left leg and the minotaur stumbles! She manages to stay upright, but her leg does not look good! More javelins from either side woooshes past, but this time they are easily deflected. The Shaver of Beards manages to slash Captain Jodariel in her left hand with his iron halberd and it is split apart! Blood is splashing everywhere and the crowds are roaring! Captain Jodariel drops her silver two-handed sword. This just seems to piss her off, as she slashes The Shaver of Beards in the lower body with her other big-rear end sword! Uh-oh. Looks like the sword got stuck! Thys Akimbo tries a sneak attack, and punches Captain Jodariel in the head, making the silver helm ring! A copper hammer wielding dwarf strikes The Shaver of Beards in the upper body with her next javelin, and he seems to have trouble breathing! Captain Jodariel pulls her sword out of The Shaver of Beards’ abdomen and then punches him in the leg! That’s GOTTA hurt! Chuck joins in on the elf hate and stabs The Shaver of Beards causingg him to drop his halberd and fall over, unconscious! Meteor Spin swings her axe, and The Shaver of Beards is no more! Wow, first kill goes to Meteor Spin! Meteor Spin isn’t done! She turns to Thys Akimbo, but the minotaur proves to be a more formidable opponent than the elf, and her attacks are in vain! Captain Jodariel comes up and gives it a go, and slashes Thys Akimbo in her left hand, once again coloring the immediate world red! Now it’s just a hackfest, with everyone ganging up on Thys Akimbo! She takes some heavy damage from their relentless attacks, but somehow she is still standing! Uh-oh! Captain Jodariel slashes Thys Akimbo in the nose and it sails away across the arena! Bogroll tries to help but his attack misses Captain Jodariel! Meteor Spin just cut Thys Akimbo’s right lower arm clean off!! This has to be a turning point in the match! How can Morning Routine bounce back from this!? There’s a 3v3 now, and blows are traded on both sides! Thys Akimbo is still amazingly in the ga-! Scratch that! Meteor Spin cuts off Thys Akimbo’s left hand as well! Thys Akimbo has no hands anymore! Meteor Spin has found her niche and cuts off Thys Akimbo’s left lower arm as well! The horror! She is chopping up the minotaur piece by piece! Chuck stabs Thys Akimbo in the upper body with his bronze pilum and, finally, Thys Akimbo has had enough and passes out from exhaustion. Meteor Spin picks up Thys Akimbo by the right lower leg and starts shaking her wildly! A copper hammer wielding dwarf tries to stab Thys Akimbo in the head, but the iron helm is sturdy! Finally, after what seems like an eternity of pain, Chuck drives his bronze pilum through Thys Akimbo’s head, and Thys Akimbo has been struck down. Second kill goes to Chuck!! Moments later Captain Jodariel places a chokehold on Bogroll while Meteor Spin takes careful aim… The axe slashes through the air, and through Bogroll’s head! Third kill goes to Meteor Spin!!! All four of Big Trouble gangs up on Game of Throwns, and while he puts up a great fight, he soon succumbs to his wounds and bleeds to death! Meteor Spin got the kill!!! What a match! Moley Foley and Hacksy begin to dance around striking and dodges each other's blows. Thor pulls his axe from Windybold and readies to attack again. Buy Buy Buy! evades a strike from Windy but not before getting hit in the thigh by Whirl Dwarf One's silver flail. Buy Buy Buy! loving stabs Windybold through their goddamned upper thigh tearing a few hip ligaments. Shoulda thrown more axes lil dude thats my opinion more axes more not being stabbed with spears. Moley Foley and Hacksy are basically dueling. No one seems to want to get in the way of them yet. They've attempted to hit each other 5-6 times yet have missed. Things just continue to get worse for Windybold since Thor just cut his loving right arm off. BBBuy! yanks his spear free. Foley lands the first hit in the duel against Hacksy with a bite to the leg. Spermy smashes Fartley in the drat head fracturing the skull, and bruising the moleman's spine. Also Windybold punched Buy!'s head but it passed through? some sort of anime phantom fighting style move. Buy! impales the kobold's leg again just lmao Thor chops Windybold's left leg off jesus christ Thor whatever you did this round you did it right so far Windybold gives into pain and goes unconscious. Whirl Dwarf One attempts to defend their teammate and swings their flail into Buy Buy Buy's elbow bending it forcing the minotaur to drop his spear! However it is for naught as Thor slams his axe through Windybold's head cleaving it in two and killing the tiny combatant. RIP Windybold. Foley executes some kind of fingerhold on Hacksy and takes him down to the floor? i assume i mean it said he took him down so thats pretty cool. Moleman martial arts. Whirl Dwarf One continues assaulting Buy Buy Buy!. Hacksy quickly gets up and cuts the moleman's foot but Foley clamps his mouth onto the lower armor and latches firmly. Buy is annoyed by being injured. Not much going on in that skull minus the whole kobold impalement fantasies. Whirl dodges several attacks from the bullspawn but is surprised when the minotaur suddenly charges knocking them over. Spermy continues pulverizing Fartley. Foley shakes Hacksy around tearing a spinal tendon. Thor wanders over and hacks Fartley's left forearm off. Foley shakes Hacksy twice tearing another set of tendons and causing the dwarf to fall over. Hacksy retaliates by hitting the moleman in the mouth with the flat of his ace blade crushing it. Foley shakes him around some more. Thor cuts a foot off. Buy! wanders over and grabs a front tooth of Fartley. While the moleman is held Thor chops his head off too bringing his kill count to 2 and his body parts chopped off enemies count to 7! The fight is now a 4 v 2! Whirl Dwarf One is surrounded! Thor's attack is deflected by Whirl's gauntlet! Spermy is parried! Buy misses! Whirl scores at hit on Spermy! Buy charges into and knocks Whirl over! Hacksy lops a foot and hand off Foley. Whirl gains her footing and stands back up right in the way off a minotaur's biting mouth and gets a nice bruised ankle for it. In response she buries her silver flail into Spermy's ribs tearing his liver! Thor continues attacking but everything bounces off Whirl's armor. Spermy Munki gives into pain. Perhaps a turnaround for the Windy Whirly Farters? Hacksy removes another foot from Moley Foley and Foley keeps trying to bite him with his mangled mouth with no success. Thor whacks Whirl Dwarf One in the eyelid with his axe pommel and sends Whirl into an enraged state. Whirl and Thor are the only unharmed combatants well just Thor now but this doesn't bode well. Whirl has yet to remove her flail head from the guts of Spermy yet continues to use it to strike and harm her adversaries. Thor then charges Buy! for some reason and knocks hisself on his rear end. Hacksy chops off the other hand of Moley Foley. Hacksy then hacks off an arm and Moley Foley bleeds to death and dies. It is a 3 v 2 well 2 v 2 until Spermy wakes up.
