Sometimes I get youtube recommendations from people defending E;R specifically, and there's videos from this guy calling himself Unknown Otaku calling Hasan Piker and other youtubers idiot retards for not "getting the joke." I think youtubes doing a thing recently where a lot of the top creators stuff is being outright copied or just 'commented' on by another youtuber. And it's appearing higher than the original content creators stuff in searches. It's exactly what the top creators did, they took someone elses mass media and made a carreer out of talking about it, and now a new tier of online operators is taking their youtube bucks. And they seem to be freaking out, as I've seen two videos on /r/video talking about this latest youtube drama. I think that partially explains why a lot of the top people are starting to realize they have to band together and reinforce each other's popularity, or they risk becoming yesterdays news. And from youtubes perspective, they get to cheat the big paychecks out of their cash and spread it out to a bunch of little guys who most likely are getting a much smaller % of revenue than the original creators saw. I guess what I'm saying is this year is going to be hilarious for youtube creators in general.

On the one hand, it's good to have some creators to call out stupid bullshit other creators are doing.
