Hope they paid the John Cage estate - they're litigious! Some country singer did a "Moment of Silence" track on his next album after 9/11, and the Cage estate sued him.

Just noticed there's a brand new Scheuber album called Shades up on Spotify! edit: found a short gap to put it on... first impression of the first track is not great. The music is okay. The vocals ... sound drunk. Oh my god the chorus is worse. edit2: from the lyrics that I caught, I feel like he's just getting poo poo off his chest. But ugh. teethgrinder fucked around with this message at 06:11 on Jan 19, 2019 |

PYF shamelessly blatant industrial samples Snog - The Universe (1997) - KMFDM - Disgust (1990) - I mean it's the entire loving song FLA - Victim of a Criminal - Sepultura - Dead Embryonic Cells (since we were just talking about it; no way am I doing the rest of the album)

It sounds like someone listened to the Judgement Night soundtrack a lot and thought "drat, this rap/rock crossover thing would work for an industrial band". They made a terrible mistake.

Their live show really is great, although I’ve only seen them in a festival setting. I’d like to see them as part of a tour - my friend tells me that And One will go for hours and hours. Other great And One moment: “Well Pitchfork played earlier but they didn’t play Timekiller so now we’re going to!”

I'm looking at festivals this year in North America or Europe that I might want to travel to, but I'm not really familiar with any. Before July/August would be easiest for me, so M'era Luna, Amphi, and Infest are probably out. WGT is looking like the best option so far, but any other suggestions? Not really looking for any particular bands or anything, just checking my options.

Saw The Soft Moon last night for the first time. Fuuuuuuck that was amazing! HIDE was great again as well, although I prefer HIDE in really small venues because they're even more intense that way. But yeah, totally blown away by TSM. Also. Nitzer Ebb is touring soon.

Not sure if this is entirely the right place to post this, but I have a ticket for VNV Nation in Manchester tomorrow, but I won't be able to attend. If anyone's interested, PM me. Otherwise, I'd also be happy if anyone can suggest a good way to put this on offer for more people to see.
