Dream eaters are cute cuddly pals that either make bad dreams or protect people from them, Riku was one during KH3D.

YOU'VE GOT THAT WRONG!
Is the point of no return made clear in this game? I know KH1 has a door that says 'hey, just so you know, there are no save points beyond here, only boss fights', and I'm wondering whether KH3 makes the 'hey, you'd better finish photographing hidden emblems etc.' point similarly obvious. I've just come back to the Keyblade Graveyard from the Final World.

The next time the game lets you go to the map will be the last and it doesn't tell you out right but it's fairly obvious you're heading to the final boss.

Lady Tremaine and Cinderella's stepsisters fuckin DIE. And I guess Sora cuts the Ursula's stolen voice subplot short, but the Atlantica story ends up the same anyway.

Clearly Xehanort orchestrated their demise so that Cinderella 3 wouldn't happen, cause controlling his own time travel conspiracy is hard enough without other people mucking around with that sort of thing carelessly

In this game Hans dies instead of being arrested and banished back to his kingdom. In KH2 during the Aladdin 2 inspired plot, instead of the fat bandit finding the lamp, it the peddler from the intro of Aladdin who somehow has the personality of the jerk fat peddler who tried to cut off Jasmine arm.

Another one is Scar dying (and turned into a heartless) from falling off the cliff instead of being hurt and being eaten by the hyenas.

Still laughing at the rather unimpressive Bee Copters that replaced the Hun army in Mulan. Shan Yu isn't as threatening he commanding a bunch of cartoony bees.

Every time I am confused about a KH plot point I find out it's because I didn't play Dream Drop Distance

It sounds INCREDIBLY stupid.

Please don't say it explains why there's no Traverse Town because I'll be so mad (The demo I played was in it)

Ariel went human and married Eric in the kh2 credits but is still a mermaid when you summon her here. I guess that one could be dismissed with something the summoning magic does , but until proven otherwise I continue to assume that she and Simba randomly became elementals.

We didn't need DDD to explain Traverse town. We knew from the start that it was built from fragments of other worlds, and it didn't take anyone long to realize that it ceased to exist at the end of KH1 when they were put back together.

Now, DDD did twist that around a bit to say Traverse Town developed a heart of its own which went to Sleep because of that, but even so.

crabs are fairly simple, there's a few HIGH density crab areas. the trick will be balancing finding crabs and leveling the ship enough to GET to the final boss and whether or not it's faster to hit up a small island or two to collect enough to level up instead of just making the fight really long.

Not only that but the scene replicates the massive roar of his army from the original, only this time he has... about 20 heartless instead of about 2000 men. It's incredibly silly.

I, uh, don’t think that Einhander boss is nearly as hard as the developers seem to think it was? I beat him first try using a blueprint ship and it gave me an OP golden gummi ship with 4000 cost that steamrolled every single mission in the final gummi map including the final superboss you fight to get the Orichalcum+

This game has the hardest treasure hunt out of all the KH games but on the other hand grinding seems to be the easiest it’s ever been. Some of the battle portals give insane EXP and reliably drop 4-5 copies of the high-end synth item you’re looking for, and farming Fluorite/Damascus/Adamantite is as easy as flying around in your gummi ship shooting asteroids for a couple minutes.

The “level up to 99 in 40 minutes” guide I was looking at wasn’t even using Exp boosting food!

Oh look, now I can do multi-target anime laser barrage :allears:

Right about the time I was kicking the rocks out of Earth Titan I was a little suspect about the whole 'lost your powers' thing. Clearing out the rest of them at Lv. 5 or 6, I realized that yeah, Sora is already stupidly powerful and is only going to become godlike through KH3. Herc even mentions it if you go back to the cliff where you fight the Titan, and he's legit shocked that you took it down alone. On a mountainside. With an uphill battle. It's actually kind of charming that this legendary hero is impressed by your early game setpiece fight.

Personally, Just started Monsteropolis, and they're already some of my favorite designs for both characters and enemies.

One big question, though: about how early can you get Ultima Weapon?

Another big question: How do you excellent the egg challenge? Everything else I've done pretty well (Flambe is still a bit tough, chopping and spicing are super easy) but I can't seem to get the egg done right.

Invisible werewolf (entirely visible, not actually a wolf)
I wish the game had any bosses designed as tightly as Phantom Aqua in 0.2 but I guess it'd be a challenge since your moveset is a lot less defined and it's harder to predict what kind of configurations the players are gonna end up having. I do hope later content is gonna include stuff designed around using very specific abilities though

This took me a bit to realize, but I finally got it.

First, make sure that you don't pull the egg apart immediately. When you pull the egg apart, don't drop the yolk at the first sight. Wait until the screen gets darker with the purple sparks around your head, The controller will also vibrate a lot harder than when you first crack the egg to signify it as well. I was getting tripped up by dropping the yolk immediately, but you just have to wait and crack a teeny bit more first.
