Text in early pokemon games is pretty slow. I don't know how much time it saves, but in Xenogears if you use an instant text gameshark code, it brings any% down from 18 hours to under 12.

It saves quite a bit of time, but you lose it if you open the start menu or use a pokemon center, which means the optimal route is very unlikely to actually finish a run. That's reason enough to hate it in my opinion, but I think there was some drama around the category definitions when it was discovered, too.

That sounds like it at least requires some interesting routing decisions to the point where you have to choose safe vs risk having to heal and it should be in A category, just not glitchless. But of course everyone wants their category to be the MAIN category.

Having seen Keizaron do races I fully believe someone told him to stop being so loud and he refused. The people in his Discord channels always make it a point to turn him down during races. And that him being so loud might have upset his girlfriend and dog. Dude is like peak screaming Youtuber memelord.

I recently watched PJ's Robotrek run from RPG Limit Break 2016. That was a real treat. While he doesn't manage to destroy any equipment, there's a lot of funny RNG. I wish I could actually catch the dude streaming for once!

Oh boy. Breath of Fire IV, FF Tactics, two different Odin Sphere runs, Phantasy Star IV, Vagrant Story...that's a pretty nice lineup. Also a three-way .hack//INFECTION race. And a ten-person FFX relay race? This is going to be bonkers. How does Breath of Fire Co-Op work?
