Idk if you turn off the reflex mode I thought it was fairly easy to get spotted since there are often a lot of different sightlines. Of course ddog and quiet are both op and make things a lot easier too.

The moment i realized i had to stay in cover that was usable only in the prone position, was the moment I knew mgsv was the greatest stealth game ever created.

I think it's the 1st or second mission in Africa where it drops you off in a spot that looks ripped right out the intro mgs3 level. Then you climb a hill and it'd the rest of the world. I finished RE2 Standard in 1:58, first time I've ever speed run an RE game! It's amazing how fast you can get through when you know what you need and skip the other stuff. Just need to do it twice on Hardcore difficulty now

I just remember in retrospect probably extending the amount of time it would take to beat later levels in Metal Arms because I would first almost always exclusively use the "Jack-In" feature to take over enemy robots instead of using any of the other weapons you got in the game.
