Also, she started going back to the well and got weirdly conspiracy theory about it. Like blaming Sims for her Cloak and Dagger miniseries getting cancelled years before he was even writing for Marvel. The reasoning was that the editor for that miniseries was on friendly terms with Sims... meaning the editor would sabotage his own project as a second-hand act of malice.

The big issue is now she basically waits for anytime she needs press and suddenly 'lets slip' the Sims thing again around someone who has enough of a voice to carry a torch for her. I've still lost a huge amount of respect for Spike for just hearing "SOMEONE PICKED ON A LADY, GET SOME PITCHFORKS" a year or two back and claiming it was all about how the Big Two keep women down and are an old boys club without doing a single shred of research.

It's been interesting, not unlike watching gangrene spread, seeing ComicsGate congeal around defending sex pest and anime voice actor Vic Mignogna. People who'd talk smack about Japanese cartoons or, even worse, Japanese cartoons with people talking in English over them are now very very concerned about a man who's been a known harasser of teenage girls and just a general dick to con staff for a decade a half at least. Although with Vic being Broly in the DBZ movie I guess it's an easy way for chuds to keep their name in lights. You've either got this or Ethan getting upset at a charity wanting to take girls to see Captain Marvel who couldn't go otherwise.

Zak: "Um, excuse me, I take care of my disabled bisexual girlfriend and SHE thinks it's fine too." And eventually RPG.net just permanently banned him because who needs the hassle. Then you'd get stuff like Zak running a harassment blog under an assumed name (it's a shtick of his, as you can tell by the post) and then quickly you got even worse stories, like one developer literally up and moving their family to Japan to get away from Zak's chuds. Unfortunately Zak had a rep for being 'edgy' and 'creative' and was even one of the consultants on the latest edition of D&D. Not that the head of the brand who hired him has said anything. Nor one of his friends, who's now Community Manager.
