The thing is that we don't really know how strong great apes really are. Like they've only been defeated because someone got a lucky shot on their super obvious weak spot or literally blew up the moon. Maybe a fully trained regular saiyan can go toe to toe with Frieza like it's no thing Incidentally I forget what ozarus were called in the Latin American dub

Well I meant in the sense that now everyone is an insane engine of destruction so now at best all Apes can be is a stronger foe. While it may not have worked out that way in practice apes felt more destructive in DB and early Z. Now goten could blow up a planet so what do you got

Makes it less weird for Saiyan-Saga Vegeta to be calling himself The Mightiest Warrior In The Universe despite working for Freeza. Giving Vegeta a 10X boost, even all the way back then, makes him as strong as Ginyu, the strongest of Freeza's soldiers - and it's easy to imagine Vegeta not thinking of Freeza himself as an actual warrior, just a despot/force of nature.

Wonder if the Ape transformation is similar to the zenkai. Zenkai, I think I heard at some point, only applies to a Saiyan's base power, which doesn't give much extra to Super Saiyan. Great Ape might still be 10x your power but only base form. Broly's Full Power probably surpassed that.

Blue 4 just looks awful. I'm not crazy about regular 4, but the red at least goes well with the very jagged and aggressive look it's going 4. That cool, mellow blue, on the other hand, clashes terribly.
