Superzooms. That category. Are a in between point and click and a proper DSLR/mirrorless. The are very good. But with phone cameras improving becoming even more niche. What the CAN do better than anything because of the sealed lenses system is that zoom. That beautiful zoom. You'd have to physically swap lenses to something huge to get that on a dslr. And obviously no phone going to give you that. At 300-500 the are a great step into photography without dropping 2000-3000 into a good body and a few lens system.   Took these 5 years ago with the Sony cyber-shot the sony version in this class. Bombadilillo has a new favorite as of 15:23 on Mar 13, 2019 |

He can do slap guitar too. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=az4p2azKnN0 I've tried playing his stuff and even the songs that sound very simple are maddening. He's all over the fretboard and using chords that I've never seen before. It's absolute mastery of the electric guitar as an art form.
