Hmmm it'd have dropped the 13-3 Saints from the #1 seed to 12-4 and the....#1 seed. Yes, truly stirring.

Even if it dropped them to the #2 and swapped with Minnesota, that means Favre is throwing picks in front of purple shirsies instead of black/gold video game characters.

And if we're continuing the "if my grandmother had balls she'd been my grandfather" logic, maybe if Miami doesn't give up a 22-0 fourth quarter they have less reason to bitch

and lol defending Miami while calling out another team for fair-weather fanhood

This is a lot of words to argue a point that’s ancillary. Our topic was Miami fans not caring.

And my response is simply - You have no idea what you’re talking about if you say Miami fans don’t care about their team. They bring up every little slight for over 30 years. Every Cuban dude in Miami obsesses over the Dolphins. It’s why it’s silly to say they’re fair weather when their numbers prove that they actually still have support during the tank years

And I will admit - I thought the loss would’ve dropped them a spot. Perhaps it was only during that week, but I’ll take your word for it.

I’m proud of you for noticing that Miami could’ve still won the game. Now take that lesson, apply it to the game that you desperately want to pretend was cost due to a refs call, and apply that logic.

The best thing about Boohoo Saints is when the Patriots won in overtime it was all "Overtime is rigged! The coin flip basically decides the game!"

Face it, at the end of regulation the lights got a little too bright for Drew. Tom, on the other hand, rose to the occasion like he always does and now he has 6 rings and 1 sex ring as an organization

Josh Gordon is working out with Tommy at TB12, so he is going to be un-suspended and catch 25 touchdowns next season.

He's been ok but yeah, there isn't much available, he's only 25, and his last position coach sucked rear end. Be nice if he took a step forward but he's fine as is.

Bucs basically have no cap room now so expect them to be cutting plenty of guys shortly.

I don't know, I actually kind of buy that rationalization. Collins definitely has a weakness in the passing game, that's not really a secret, and he gave up some really big plays the past two seasons. I still think he'll get paid similarly to that franchise number but by a team who really wants and needs him.

Man that seems pretty rich for a mediocre tackle but like someone mentioned, the future is not exactly bright for O line prospects. Seems like he's been pretty reliable in terms of injuries too.

Yeah, he's started every game since he was drafted and only one time he didn't finish the game. He's incredibly durable.

Colts re-signed Margus Hunt for 2yr/9mil, which is a pretty good deal since 4.5 is rotation player money these days. He started off great but faded as the year went on, so maybe with some depth he can stay good all year.

Really hope we go after Collins, a lot of money to spend and he would be great paired with Hooker. Geathers has really slowed down with the injuries, would love to keep him as a backup though.

I'd like for the Colts to get Humphries, Collins, and Flowers. Those would all help shore up some positions of need and then the rest can be done with the draft and maybe some smaller FA pickups.

That's a nice team-friendly deal and appropriate to his value. A lot of times these days you get guys who want premiere pass rusher money without being a premiere pass rusher, good that they could come to an agreement.

I didn't realize his coverage was quite that bad, but yeah he's a different type of linebacker. He's a good tackler which goes a long way towards ameliorating that weakness, but at his core he's a thumping, blitzing, run-stuffing type of middle linebacker.
