he wrote that one wolverine/punisher crossover that was just one big setup to a punchline about the punisher being gay, that's pretty memorable for the wrong reasons a crossover he only wrote because garth ennis had wolverine in his punisher comic and made fun of him for being all snikt bub

Oh wait, I remember the other memorable/'memorable' Frank Tieri comic! This was an 'answer' comic to an issue of Ennis/McCrea's Punisher (the Marvel Knights borderline comedy Ennis Punisher, not the serious Punisher MAX series) that featured essentially a caricature of Wolverine as a feral drunk bumbler who injected "Snikt" into every conversation and eventually gets run over with a steamroller if the entire cartoonish theme was not obvious enough. But you see, Tieri was writing Wolverine at the time and needed to show THE OTHER SIDE of things. quote:Punisher starts at Logan’s last sentence. Wolverine checks the bag, finding a magazine of homosexual pornography. Wolverine laughs and tells Punisher “You were makin’ fun a’ me fer wearin’ yellow tights? Hmm… makes sense, now that I think about it… You’re single, neat, very organized…” Punisher replies with a choked “…suspects… always looking for suspects…” Wolverine throws the magazine on the barely conscious Punisher and walks away. I remember something he wrote!
