I hope she's forced to live forever, not just past the collapse of the UK but the collapse of the ecosystem, then past whatever species reigns next, then past the sun expanding to swallow the earth, until the last star goes out, forever seeking a Brexit deal.

According to some CNBC article, the sequence of votes is: vote on May's deal, vote on no deal exit, then vote on delaying the deadline. What happens if (when) all three votes fail?

What’s the point of this fella being able to just call the vote at a random time? Like what purpose could it possible serve

All of this is on May's head. There was an acting majority for a customs union at the time of the referendum, a majority for it in Parliament and an enthusiastic response from the EU on it. But her view of the country is one without foreigners in it, so she pursued a deal to exclude them at all costs. And she ruined herself because she just couldn't stop being racist.
