Any other Labour Party members received a call asking if you want to stand as an MEP? How on earth do they select for that? Edit: maybe they took note when I answered "I'm a really good shot with a rifle" to "how could you help the Labour Party more?"

Be the change you want to see in the world, goons. Even standing as a paper candidate gives other like minded voters in your area someone to vote for and involves little to zero effort in terms of campaigning (and the benefit over standing as an independent is the party puts up your deposit)
