Treating difficulty as an "accessibility" issue sounds like you're comparing hard games to a building that's not wheelchair accessible.

i played the first dark souls game and it wasn't fun. don't think an easy mode would change that. but accessibility options are good and we should try to bring in people, not for the sake of profit but just because everyone should have the option of experiencing things within reason
