As much as I want to fully balkanize or directly rule Morocco, it doesn't seem feasibly possible at this point. A is probably our best option, but after centuries of conflict I think we all wish we could rule over Morocco.

Go B, for all the reasons already stated: lots of smaller states will keep Morocco from rising again to threaten control of the straits. Just because the single state would be communist doesn't imply they would be friendly - remember that just a few (in-game) months ago our plan was to move against the Balkans! As far as military occupancy, we can't afford the garrison troops - it doesn't seem like we've got firm control of the Med, so we have to station militia at every naval port already. edit for boldness

My heart wants to spread the revolution next to a strong communist North Africa, but as someone who's unfamiliar with HoI4 and considering that our faction is not the strongest one in a three-way war, what's the soundest mechanical choice? I know in EU4 sometimes is very convenient to have a March because you don't have to deal with non-accepted cultures, they have their own manpower pool, etc. What would be the difference between Big Allied Maghreb, Loads of Tiny Satellites and Occupation?

C Setting up nations while you're trying to wrestle for general control is a great way to get a crappy puppet who doesn't help, but then again HOI4 is a game where when you get inertia its pretty much over so Andalus could do whatever they want.

A Non-core states only provide 2% manpower and have half the building slots, so it's a terrible idea to occupy the region when we are fighting for our lives. We are early enough in the war that a Maghrebi state could build up into a useful ally. From what I've seen, the ai isn't good at coordinating between allied nations. A collection of small armies can defend a front, but isn't likely to launch a unified offensive.

Sadly, it looks like A is going to win. I only hope that we can at least agree that all of the reparations that our hardworking socialist workers had paid to Morocco after the Great War will be returned to our patriots with interest and that all transportable assets owned by the Moroccan looters, war criminals, and royal family must obviously be confiscated and shipped back to Iberia. I don’t care if this is ultimately going to impair the economy of our new Moroccan “allies”; the Almoravids must pay their debts in full.
