Seriously though, my lovely handling of Roman numerals aside, I'm excited for the movie. There's definitely a few RotJ beats, at least visually, but I really want to see this.

I absolutely get how bringing Palpatine back makes sense if they were intent on having this movie be the climax of a nine-part story and not just this one trilogy, but I'm definitely taking a wait and see approach as to how I feel about it. If nothing else, more Ian McDiarmid will be fun in and of itself, no matter what it means for the larger whole.

Good teaser, nothing alarming so far except for Skywalker in the title. I guess they got enough out of Carrie Fisher to include her.
