My biggest takeaway from the newest episode is just how amazingly weird the guy who plays Bran looks. Is he wearing some face prosthetics or something? Whats this guy ever going to be in after this is over? That last shot of him staring at Jamie made me laugh. He's basically going to be type cast as a spooky werdio forever

I hate how one of the most intriguing and menacing characters in the books is basically turned into a wise-cracking idiot in the show. Also the only good part of the episode was Tormund and Beric sneaking around in castle whatever. Until they ran into the Night's Watch, that wasn't very funny. And also minus the kid lord screaming when burning like straight out of a zombie movie.

lol this show I love how the last three episodes have been like 80% "wow! (character) is talking to (other character)!". Last Seasons GOT All-Stars walk beyond the wall might as well have been an RPG scene where you're not allowed to advance until you talk to everyone in your party to get their feelings on where you're at. And I thought this ep was leading to a confrontation at The Last Hearth but lol the guys get there and are like "oh actually we just missed the 100k+ big army, whoops!". The Umber kid getting the WW art treatment was cool though. why does sam give even a little bit of a poo poo about his dad?

What floored me about this episode is how seemingly unprepared all the people who have lived through the past several years are for shifting alliances and treaties and such. Like the reaction to Jon bending the knee to Dany, or the Lannisters joining the cause was complete bewilderment and anger. But even if you won the war, you gotta figure you're not wiping your enemies from the face of the earth(?), eventually there's going to be a truce and then you're going to resume trading and sharing the continent with these people.
