Eh I could sort of see it working if they leaned more into the lighter toned detective batman from things like the animated series. Just have him become more grizzled and "Grim Batman" over the years of never ending horrible crime. Maybe then we can have another 5 years of a batman show on TV continuing after this!

I buy Mazouz as Batman. He’s got the acting chops, physicality, and brutality to pull it off. If he had a few more years to bulk up he’d fit right in.

Does Bruce know Selina saw his parents murder? This was a plot point in season 1 but then she abruptly said “haha jk I lied” and Bruce figured out the murderer later on. I don’t remember if they ever brought this whole thing up again.

Caught up to the latest episode just last night. Have they had Talia on this one, or is Nyssa the first of the daughters? I get the Al' Ghul bloodline confused between this and Arrowverse. Not sure how they're going to magic Alfred back for the last two episodes if he looks to be mostly dead or at the very least critically injured. I thought for sure the last episode was going to end with Bane offing Barbara leaving Lee to deal with the baby. Instead we got a bizarre precursor to Knightfall and some super angry helicopters. REALLY curious to see how this thing finally comes to an end.

It's Ridler, Penguin, Bullock and Jim. They go and join a huge group of people on top of a wall and everyone starts firing guns. I didn't notice any other named characters, though they might have been there. Those four were the only ones we saw doing the "getting ready to kick arse" montage though.

I thought the quick shot of a bat silhouetted against the moon was a nice touch. It was telegraphed subtly, and the shot was long enough to appreciate while being short enough to avoid being overtly self-referential. Can't wait for the finale. It has been a long, strange trip, hasn't it? Who wants to post their favorite bad Got Ham moments from when the show was still finding itself? One of mine was the strangely out-of-place soap opera crap from season one, which involved Babs and her ex-girlfriend, Detective Badlywritten.

Yeah, Renee Montoya was made for BTAS and eventually took up the mantle of the Question in the comics. I didn’t remember what happened to her, and on looking her up it seems she really did just disappear. Still can’t get over how seriously everyone took Balloon Man, the hero this city just might need. Don't know how much of a spoiler it is since the actor tweeted it out, but Camren Bicondova said she requested that someone else play Selina in the finale. She said it felt right for her and for the character. So Lili Simmons will be playing Catwoman in the last ep.

On the other, it's only going to make Mazouz look younger by comparison, and it's already straining credulity to have him playing 28-year old Bruce
