True Story: I drew up plans for a punkin' chunker that was a human powered catapult shaped like a hand with the middle finger as the launcher. I envisioned a hamster wheel that a person would walk on to wind up the catapult, using a semi truck rear differential (including the brake assembly) to transfer power to wind up a spring and store the energy via brake pedal & system. When the energy is released, the middle finger would launch the punkin. I called it the Fickle Flinger of Fate.
