Did he have one with the Giants?

The Giants used to have talented players who were upset about not winning. Now everyone left is happy.

I for one am glad the Giants are destroying themselves and hopefully poisoning the team to the point where it will take a decade to recover

I’d be happy if he went to the Chargers because it’s a perfect fit. He’s talented and you can’t piss the fans off with comments (though that seems to have been bs) if there aren’t any fans.

Not a bad move IMO. He is not terrible, just uninspiring imo and he has decent hands to catch out of the backfield. When your other RBS are 30 and 35(!) years old an experienced cheap JAG is good insurance

Hughes is good, pretty reliable. This isn't surprising, though I'd hope the Jets were at least offering their 2020 1st.

I am somewhat torn on the frank clark situation. I don't think that the FO wants to pay TOP DOLLAR for a pass rusher, but clark is like half of the hawks pass rush. I know this is a deep DL draft, but back in the 20s all of the premier rush guys will be gone right? I cannot fathom the seahawks trading UP in any scenario. Though if I had to pick giving a new contract to bobby wagner and jarren reed and trading clark, or giving a new contract to clark and not resigning only one of those guys I pick wagner reed and trade all the way through.

The Raiders have had big problems with leaks from scouts before the draft. The fact that this was leaked basically proves their point

Mayock getting 3 first round picks his first year is awesome because it’s nearly impossible to whiff on all 3 but you just know he will

I actually think he'll be alright as long as they don't try to get too clever. There are a lot of good players available at those picks so they'd have to do something really wacky to truly gently caress it up. Given that he's a TV draft guy he's probably just gonna follow some big board that's identical to what we're seeing online

STRIKE!

What. Trading the 3rd overall for Frank Clark makes no sense for the Jets.

SHOAH NUFF posted:

This makes more sense because KC is already a contender. Now that they have a DC who isn't a complete buffoon, adding a premiere pass rusher who can contribute immediately could put them over the top.

If KC did that and got a bit more help in the secondary, I'd put them as SB favorites.

Hell even if they don't get more talent in the secondary they still might be SB favorites. Excited to see what happens to their defense with a new DC.

100%, the "oh ok" was meant to be about everyone else saying the Jets were in on Clark.

I'd do #3 for Clark/#21, though. Then hope Bradbury falls to 21.
