Ragna Crimson is pretty good and for some reason vaguely reminds me of Marry Grave in terms of being a sort of "different" shounen series without the usual progression tropes.

Uruka is an adorable princess and should be treated as such. This was the chapter in the manga that turned me around on her as a character. Before she was just loud and obnoxious. But her little back story and actions here made me like her a lot more.

Also were Uruka's friends always named Umihara and Kawase? That seems like a pretty deep cut.

That's kind of a shame, I felt like it had potential and I liked the psuedo-Law and Order "let's tie the story arcs to current-ish events" thing it had going on. But it also definitely didn't stand out the way the other big breakout hits did in their first chapters. If it's going down, Hell Warden Higuma is probably next on the block.

I guess tbf kimetsu no yaiba wasn't so different. main bad guy was introduced really early and they were already fighting the twelve demon moons by like ch 30 wouldn't really surprise me if hell warden got canceled but this could still just be setup for later
