Went to multiple dealerships looking for a commute box since any time the Mini broke it would be down for at least 2 weeks because no local dealership and the ones in the bay always had to order parts that I could get faster from Rock Auto/Ebay. Anyway, 3 years/75k miles later and still don't regret purchasing it. The only minor annoyance is the lower engine cover assembly clips are plastic and love to either break or let go. Screw in too tight and they strip then let go, too loose and they work loose and let go, apparently, the Honda techs really hate those too. Being a completionist, I have a burning need to keep the thing on instead of just leaving it off after changing the oil like everybody else.

Not going to lie, I like the new Insight, it's a hybrid that looks like a normal car and mostly avoided the modern Honda overstyling. Plastidip all the chrome bits black and it doesn't look half bad. Expensive, though.

Got the estimate back on the cee arr vee. $4299.69 That's with straightening the core support and using a recycled radiator/fan/condenser/left headlight. If there's a silver lining, the only exterior blemishes the car had before, were a chip in the hood and a small dent in the fender so those will get repaired in this claim. I'm unsure about using a recycled condenser though.
