Summary: Forbes article is pure trash because: - $288M is only valid if you include the $46M investment, and it's still far off the $300M of the header. - SC is not the highest crowed funded project. It's been beaten recently by Notre-Dame reconstruction ( wish I was joking, but nope, that's his argument, Forbes lied ). - $14M left in the bank at the end of 2017 has no proof and is just FUD from Forbes ( looks like the guy isn't even aware of CIG financials ? He seems to be very angry that no proof was posted. Lol. ) - the 100 star systems is dishonnesty from Forbes because.. the backers voted for the scope increase back in the days ( .. and to produce the game faster, but let's not mention that. Besides, they didn't vote for a reduction of star systems count, hey dummy.. ). - a 3 years delay for Freelancer is not "plenty", it's just.. 3 years. - feature creep is kind of true, he admits that's Chris's signature, but project mismanagement and chaos ? That's just FUD, obviously. - Sandi's trepassing was just a "love triangle" with Chris and his wife, nothing too alarming there ( I wish I was making that up ). Could they just name a couple so that we can compare notes on what they consider more content? Are they comparing to current gen games? Past gen games? Cellphone games? Freeware? Browser games?
