i'd say it feels weird to see an anime so readily depict a minor smoking and even like come insanely close to showing the main girl herself smoke but, considering everything else the show's done,

i used to be real big into conan when i was like 7 and gave up when i outgrew shinichi and at like age 25 realised this poo poo was never gonna end lol

also yeah you can use the artist's style to determine who's going to be important/smart/the culprit because all the characters who do poo poo have the sharp pretty faces

Nope, sorry.

Slayers is still fun.
Slam Dunk is still a heckuva watch.
YuYu Hakusho was off-the-hook.
Magic Knight Rayearth is still probably my favorite Clamp thing ever.

I watched all four last year and still thoroughly dig them, warts and all. Also Samurai Champloo-- granted, I was in my early 20's when I first watched Samurai Champloo, but I bet a ton of goons here probably watched it when they were wee ones and still dig it--.

Also, the music it has. Like I know that it has a whole bunch of things to draw from even to this day and you might think "Eh, the music's not that much to write home about", but a lot of the music still sticks with me to the point that I use it for warm-up, because Arisawa accentuated beats in a way that not a lot of Soundtrack guys do. Or, well, did.
